Putting Working Families First

As a tax attorney, Bob Olson has seen the damage this administration’s policies have done to working Americans which is why he will introduce a Working Families Bill of Rights when he takes office.

Middle-income families pay more than their fair share in taxes and are also the people hardest hit by the rising cost of living -- whether it be soaring gas prices, higher local property taxes, sky-rocketing college tuition or out-of-control increases in health insurance premiums.

Meanwhile income growth is flat, 401(k) accounts are taking big hits, yet corporate profits are at a record high. American tax policies should favor workers and the small businesses that create American jobs, instead of rewarding CEOs who outsource our jobs to countries that ignore workers’ rights and environmental laws.
